Rawdha is Ahmed Al Maghribi’s tribute to classic Emirati perfumery, a rich oud and rose composition released in 2024 that has quickly become one of the house’s most respected fragrances. Where the brand’s cult Leather is stark and modern, Rawdha is generous and traditional: layered, warm and dignified, built around genuine Hindi agarwood in both the opening and the base.
The scent
It opens the way a serious Arabian fragrance should: Hindi oud, deep and slightly animalic, gilded with bittersweet saffron. This is not a shy, westernised oud; it announces its heritage from the first spray.
The heart is where Rawdha earns its name, which means garden in Arabic. A dark Hindi rose blooms over creamy sandalwood, earthy vetiver and a thread of aromatic herbs, softening the oud without taming it. The base settles into amber warmth with musk, more agarwood and cypriol, the smoky-earthy note beloved of traditional attar makers. Longevity is excellent, as expected from this house’s oil-rich style, and the dry down lingers well into the next day on clothing.
