Reef Perfumes is a Saudi Arabian house that has become one of the most respected names in Gulf perfumery, known for compact compositions with real character rather than long note lists. Its best known release, Reef 33, is built on just three notes and is widely regarded as the original of the saffron, rosemary and oud structure that several later Arabian fragrances followed.

The numbered line. This is what the house is known for. Reef 33 is the one to start with: Indian saffron cut with green rosemary over warm agarwood, composed by perfumer Kevin Mathys and launched in 2020. Reef 33 White swaps the rosemary for berries, giving a sweeter and softer take on the same saffron and oud base. Reef 11, Reef 19, Reef 31 and Reef 21 complete the numbered bottles currently in stock.

The Arabs collection. Named after historic Saudi locations. Arabs of Obaiah is the one available now, pairing pineapple with leather and oud.

Larger bottles. Lady Reef and Pure Fruity both come in 150ml, which is unusually generous at this price and makes them better value per millilitre than the 100ml bottles.
