Mistral is the simplest composition in the range and that is its strength. Bergamot, lavender, amber. Three notes, done properly.
What it smells like
Bergamot opens it bright and clean. Lavender follows with the aromatic, slightly soapy freshness that has anchored barbershop fragrances for over a century. Amber warms the finish and gives it more staying power than most eau de toilettes manage.
On the fougère
Bergamot over lavender on a warm base is the backbone of the fougère family, a structure that dates to Fougère Royale in 1882 and still underpins a huge share of men’s fragrance today. Mistral is a clean, uncomplicated reading of it.
When to wear it
Daytime, year-round. Fresh and inoffensive enough for work, and the 150ml bottle means you can be generous with it.
