Hermoso by Brandy Prestige: Black Pepper, Woods and Incense
Hermoso is a modern masculine built on materials rather than notes, and the published list is unusually honest about it. Alongside black pepper and mandarin you get dihydromyrcenol, maltol and cashmeran named outright, three synthetics that most brands would hide behind vaguer language.
The opening is sharp. Black pepper gives it bite, mandarin adds brightness, and the dihydromyrcenol brings that clean metallic freshness that defines contemporary sport fragrances. Crisp and slightly aggressive.
Then it turns. Maltol adds a caramelised sweetness in the heart, cashmeran gives it a warm musky-woody density, and by the base you are in sandalwood, incense and patchouli. The arc runs from bracing to smoky, and the maltol in the middle is what stops the transition feeling abrupt.

How it wears
Cashmeran and patchouli are both long-lasting materials, and at extrait concentration this holds all day. Projection is strong in the first few hours and it settles into a smoky woody skin scent afterwards.
Autumn and winter suit the incense base, though the peppery opening keeps it wearable in milder weather. Evenings more than daytime.
Who it suits
Anyone who wants a modern masculine with some smoke in it. The incense and patchouli give it a seriousness that the fresh-sport style usually lacks.
If the pepper sounds too sharp, Madera De Oro covers similar warm-woody ground with a sweeter opening.
