Roohi by Brandy Prestige: Saffron, Hot Sand and Guaiac
Roohi is built around a note you rarely see listed. Hot sand sits in the heart, and it does exactly what it sounds like: a dry, warm, faintly mineral accord that suggests desert air rather than any particular material. It is the reason this fragrance reads the way it does.
Cardamom, saffron and black pepper open it, dry and spicy with no sweetness at all. That is unusual for the Prestige line, where most compositions lean gourmand somewhere.
The heart pairs that hot sand accord with white woods and guaiac, smoky and dry. Then patchouli, musk and vanilla close it, and the vanilla is restrained enough to add warmth without turning it sweet.
The whole thing stays dry from start to finish, which is harder to pull off than it sounds.
