Kahilan by Dkhoon Emirates 100ml EDP
Kahilan takes its name from the Kuhaylan, one of the foundation strains of the Arabian horse. It opens bright and fruity and then turns dry and woody faster than the opening leads you to expect.
Notes
- Top: Bergamot, red berries
- Heart: Vetiver
- Base: White oud, amber, caramel
The structure is the interesting part. Bergamot and red berries give a juicy, almost sharp first ten minutes, then vetiver arrives and pulls everything earthy and green. White oud is the softer, cleaner side of agarwood rather than the smoky kind, and the caramel underneath stops the oud and vetiver reading austere. It wears better in cooler weather and in the evening.
