Absolute Noir by Atralia 100ml Eau De Parfum
Absolute Noir is the most structured fragrance Atralia makes. Pink pepper, grapefruit, bergamot and lemon open it bright and sharp, pineapple and watermelon give the heart an unexpected juiciness alongside ambroxan, and it dries down onto moss, patchouli and vetiver. Fresh at the top and genuinely dry and green underneath, which is a combination most fragrances at this price never attempt.

What it smells like
The opening is a proper citrus burst. Grapefruit leads with its characteristic bitterness, lemon and bergamot sharpen it further, and pink pepper adds a dry prickle that keeps it from reading as simple lemonade. It is bright and clean without being sweet.
The heart is the surprise. Pineapple brings a tart tropical juiciness and watermelon a cool watery freshness, while ambroxan sits underneath giving that salty radiance that pushes a fragrance outward from the skin. Fruit in a fresh fragrance usually means sweetness; here it means brightness.
The dry down is where the name makes sense. Moss brings a damp, earthy green quality, patchouli adds depth, and vetiver contributes a dry rooty bitterness. This is a classic chypre-style finish, considerably more serious than the opening suggests, and it is what gives Absolute Noir its staying power.
