Cuir by Al Majed Oud 150ml Eau De Parfum

Cuir sets a bright fruity opening against a dark smoky base, and the contrast is the whole idea. Pineapple and bergamot lead, incense takes over, and patchouli and oud hold the finish.
What it smells like
Pineapple and bergamot open sharp and sparkling, closer to a fresh designer fragrance than anything Arabian. It is deliberately misleading.
Incense then moves in and changes the character entirely, adding smoke and a dry resinous weight that the opening gave no warning of.
Patchouli brings earthiness and oud brings depth, and the dry-down is where the name makes sense: dark, smoky and faintly leathery.
When to wear it
The fruit makes it wearable in milder weather, but the incense and oud base is built for cold evenings. A good transitional-season choice.
