Queen is the white floral in the Dkhoon Emirates range, and the most conventionally feminine thing the house makes. It is also the one furthest from the oud and amber style the brand is usually associated with.
Notes
- Top: Pear blossom, pink pepper, bergamot
- Heart: Jasmine, tuberose, ylang-ylang
- Base: Musk, Amber Xtreme, patchouli
The heart is the whole fragrance. Jasmine, tuberose and ylang-ylang together make a big, creamy, old-fashioned white floral, and tuberose in particular is not a quiet note. Pear blossom and pink pepper keep the opening light and a little sparkling before that arrives, and the base is where it gets modern: Amber Xtreme is a synthetic amber material with far more carrying power than the natural kind, which is why Queen projects longer than most florals at this price.
Worth saying plainly, since several listings claim otherwise. There is no oud and no rose in Queen.
