What Wearers Compare It To
Reef themselves make no comparison. Reef Perfumes never name another fragrance on their own site, so what follows comes from wearers rather than the brand.
What wearers actually say. The comparison made most often is Gissah Imperial Valley, with reviewers describing Arabs of Obaiah as a fruitier, more unisex take on it. Several also group it closely with Reef 33 from the same house.
About the Creed Aventus claim. You will see Arabs of Obaiah sold elsewhere as an Aventus dupe. Be careful with that one. Of the two dozen reviews we read, exactly one person named Aventus, and even they described it as sharing some DNA rather than matching. The pineapple-and-smoke shape is in the same territory, and Gissah Imperial Valley is itself widely read as an Aventus relative, so the comparison survives at one remove. But if you are buying this specifically as an Aventus replacement, we would rather tell you now that the wearer evidence is thin.
A naming note, because it causes genuine confusion. This one fragrance is sold under four names. Reef’s Arabic name is عرب عبية. Their own English pages use both Abaya Arabs and Arab Obaya. It is filed elsewhere as Abaya Arabs. Other retailers call it Reef Obaiah. All four are the same juice, SKU RP145005. If you have been comparing listings and thought these were different fragrances, they are not.
