Spanish Tobacco is part of the tobacco series from Ibrahim Al Qurashi, the Saudi house founded in Makkah in 1929 and best known for its musks and tobacco blends. Each scent in the series is built around tobacco from a different part of the world, and this is the Spanish chapter.
It opens cooler than you might expect. A brief aquatic lift and a thread of saffron sit over tonka bean, so the first few minutes feel clean rather than smoky. The heart is where the tobacco arrives, wrapped in cocoa and amber. It reads sweet and warm, closer to a pipe tobacco pouch than to smoke. Iris and dry woods hold the base, keeping the sweetness in check and giving it a polished, slightly powdery finish.
