Urban Man Elixir is positioned as an interpretation of Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male Elixir, and that is how the house and its retailers present it. The listing on Fragrantica is disputed in its own comments by a user pointing out that the notes were imported from Armaf’s Club de Nuit Urban Man Elixir, a completely different fragrance that happens to share the name. A second widely copied list matches Le Male Elixir’s own composition note for note, which is what happens when retailers paste the original’s pyramid onto an interpretation. A third list differs again.

What it smells like
