Pure Fruity plays its pyramid upside down, creamy tonka first, lavender through the middle, and a bright lemon glow underneath. The result is a gourmand-fougère hybrid that stays lively from first spray to last.
The Name Is Misleading, and We Would Rather Say So
Pure Fruity is not a fruity fragrance. Reef publish the notes as lemon, then lavender, then tonka bean, and their own description agrees with their own list. There is no berry, no peach, no tropical fruit anywhere in it. It is a citrus-aromatic that finishes warm and sweet, which is a genuinely good thing to be, but it is not what the name promises.
We are flagging it because the obvious reason to add this to a basket is the word on the bottle. If you want an actual fruit fragrance from this house, Reef 21 gives you jammy red berries over cedar, and Arabs of Obaiah leads on pineapple. Buy Pure Fruity because lemon, lavender and tonka sounds good to you, which it should.
A sourcing caution. At least one retailer publishes this pyramid in reverse, with tonka opening and lemon in the base. That is a copy error. Lemon is the top note, as Reef state. Pure Fruity also carries no independent listing at all, so unlike most of the Reef range there is no second source for its notes. Everything above comes from Reef’s own page, and we are telling you that rather than implying wider corroboration.
Is It a Dupe of Anything?
No established comparison exists. Reef make none, and with no independent entry there is no body of reviews to draw on either. One retailer calls it an Abercrombie & Fitch Fierce dupe. That is a single marketing line with nothing behind it, so we are not repeating it as though wearers agreed.
