Taif is named after the mountain city in Saudi Arabia that produces the most prized rose in the world, and the fragrance is built around that idea. Sparkling lemon and citrus open it, a Taif rose heart sits at the centre with soft florals around it, and a clean base of white musk and smooth woods carries it. It is a rose done the Arabian way but worn lightly, which makes it far more everyday than most rose fragrances at this concentration.

What is Taif rose?

Taif rose comes from the highlands around Taif in western Saudi Arabia, where the altitude and climate produce a rose with a distinctive character: sharper and more lemony than a Bulgarian or Turkish rose, less jammy, with a faint spiced edge. It is one of the most expensive materials in perfumery, and it is the rose Gulf perfumery is built on.
