Hawas Tropical is the holiday bottle of the range, and the one that breaks most sharply from the Hawas template. Released in 2025, it drops the apple and citrus formula entirely in favour of coconut water, fig and mint over a creamy tonka and sandalwood base. Wearers describe it as a coconut and melon mojito or a piña colada, and that is about right: green, juicy and genuinely refreshing rather than sweet and syrupy.

This is the pyramid Rasasi publishes and it matches Fragrantica. Some retailers have published a different list for Tropical built on plum, lemon, cinnamon and cardamom. Those are the original Hawas notes pasted onto the wrong product, so disregard them.

Hawas Tropical is widely compared to Jean Paul Gaultier Le Beau Paradise Garden based on community feedback, and this is one of the better supported comparisons in the range. The three notes the Gaultier is marketed on, coconut water, green fig and sandalwood, all appear in Tropical’s own pyramid, which is a genuine structural overlap rather than a vague impression.

How it wears

The opening is the best part. Fig leaf brings a green, almost stem-like freshness, coconut water reads thin and clean rather than suntan-lotion sweet, and ginger adds a dry spiced lift. It smells like a cold drink rather than a beach shop, which is the distinction that makes it work.

Through the heart the coconut fills out and turns creamier, fig brings a ripe fruitiness with a faint melon quality, and mint keeps everything cool. Rasasi handles mint well across its range and it does a lot of work here, stopping the tropical fruit from becoming cloying.
