Hawas Boa by Rasasi 100ml Eau De Parfum
Hawas Boa is the newest flanker in Rasasi’s Hawas line, and it takes the range somewhere it has not been before. Where the original Hawas is aquatic and the Ice and Fire versions play with temperature, Boa goes tropical and green: Madagascar pomelo and prickly pear open it, orange blossom keeps the brightness going, and the base turns unexpectedly dry with driftwood, olibanum, vetiver and vanilla. The snakeskin bottle is not subtle, and neither is the opening, but the dry down is more restrained than you would guess.

What it smells like
The opening is juicy and sharp at once. Pomelo is more bitter than grapefruit, prickly pear brings a watery tropical sweetness, and green apple adds a crisp bite. It reads fresh and fruity without the synthetic candy edge that fruity openings often carry.
The heart is where Boa separates itself from the rest of the Hawas line. Orange blossom carries the brightness forward, but olibanum brings a dry resinous smoke and driftwood adds a salted, sun-bleached wood quality. Tonka bean sits underneath softening the edges.
