Description
Hawas Sapphire by Rasasi 100ml Eau De Parfum
Hawas Sapphire is the newest direction the Hawas line has taken, and the most tropical. Released in 2026, it swaps the family’s usual apple and citrus opening for juicy guava and tart blackcurrant, then softens into orange blossom and creamy sandalwood before finishing on musk, tonka bean and ambergris. Fruitier and rounder than the rest of the range, and the first Hawas that reads as genuinely unisex from the start.
Fragrance notes
- Top: Guava, blackcurrant, bergamot
- Heart: Orange blossom, sandalwood
- Base: Musk, tonka bean, ambergris
How it wears
The opening is bright and sparkling. Guava gives a soft tropical sweetness that is closer to nectar than to sherbet, blackcurrant adds a tart edge that stops it turning syrupy, and bergamot lifts the whole thing. It is a bolder, juicier introduction than the fresh-citrus Hawas flankers, and it announces itself.
The heart is the surprise. Orange blossom brings a clean floral warmth and sandalwood a creaminess that pulls the fruit back towards something more refined. This is where Sapphire stops being a fruity fragrance and starts being a grown-up one.
The base is soft and lingering rather than heavy: musk for cleanliness, tonka bean for a gentle sweetness, and ambergris for that salty, skin-like warmth the Hawas line uses across the range. The trail sits close and subtly sweet.
The FBF Edition
Worth knowing what you are buying. Hawas Sapphire arrived as a collaboration between Rasasi and FBFragrances, and it is sold as the FBF Edition rather than as a standard line release. That is part of why it looks and reads differently from the rest of the Hawas bottles, and why it carries a higher recommended retail price than its siblings.
It is also one of the most commonly misspelled fragrances we sell. If you searched for Hawas Saphire, Hawas Sapphire or Rasasi Sapphire, this is the bottle you were looking for.
Who is it for?
Rasasi lists Sapphire as unisex and it wears that way, with the fruit reading slightly feminine and the woody musk base pulling it back to neutral. It suits anyone who wants a fresh fragrance with more fruit and less citrus, and it makes a good first Hawas for someone who finds the original too sweet in a bubblegum direction and Hawas Ice too sharp.
One honest note: this is a new release and opinion is still forming. Early wearers are split, with some praising the tropical brightness and others finding the opening sharper than expected in the first few minutes. It settles considerably after twenty minutes, so give it time before judging.
When to wear it
Spring and summer are the obvious fit, and it performs well in warm weather where the guava and bergamot stay comfortable. The tonka and sandalwood base gives it enough warmth to carry into cooler evenings, so it is not strictly a hot-weather bottle.
Where it sits in the Hawas line
The Hawas family now runs to well over a dozen releases, and they are genuinely different rather than minor variations. Hawas is the sweet aquatic original, Hawas Ice is the crisp citrus one, and Hawas Fire is the bold sweet-and-salty statement. Sapphire is the tropical fruity entry, and the softest of the four.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does Hawas Sapphire smell like? Juicy guava and tart blackcurrant with bergamot, opening into orange blossom and creamy sandalwood, then settling on musk, tonka bean and ambergris. Tropical and fruity at first, soft and slightly sweet later.
Is Hawas Sapphire unisex? Yes. Rasasi lists it for women and men, and the fruit-and-musk balance keeps it neutral in wear.
How does it compare to Hawas Ice? Sapphire is fruitier, softer and more tropical. Ice is sharper, colder and more citrus-driven. Sapphire is the better pick if you want sweetness without the original’s bubblegum character.
Is Hawas Sapphire good for summer? Yes, the guava and bergamot opening suits warm weather, and the tonka and sandalwood base means it still works on cooler evenings.
Is this bottle genuine? Yes. Every bottle at Perfumeo is 100% authentic, factory sealed and sourced through authorised distributors.
