Bujairami Non Stop 100ml Extrait de Parfum
Non Stop lives up to its name: a bright, busy fresh scent that keeps evolving all day. Citrus and mint kick it off, but the clever part is the base, where sweet dates and green fig give it a character most fresh fragrances never reach.
Inspired By
Bujairami’s own listing states that Non Stop is inspired by Louis Vuitton Pacific Chill. That is the manufacturer’s stated reference, published on their own site.
Pacific Chill was composed by Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud and launched in 2023. Louis Vuitton sell it at £265 for 100ml through their own boutiques and website only. Non Stop is £37.99.
What the original is built from. Fragrantica publish Pacific Chill as mint, citron, orange, lemon, blackcurrant and coriander over apricot, basil, carrot seeds and May rose, on fig, dates and ambrette. The cold-citrus-and-mint opening falling into sweet dried fruit is the signature, and it is what Non Stop reproduces.
A matching structure is not a matching smell. Pacific Chill is drier and more herbal through the middle, where the basil and carrot seed do work that most interpretations leave out, and its fig and date base is subtler. Non Stop runs sweeter and simpler. It is a close interpretation at a fraction of the cost, not a replacement.
One clarification. Bujairami describe the reference as “Pacific Chill Extrait”. Louis Vuitton have only ever released Pacific Chill as an Eau de Parfum; there is no extrait version of it. The “Extrait de Parfum” on our bottle is Bujairami’s own concentration.
The comparison refers to the scent profile only. This is Bujairami’s own composition, in its own bottle and its own packaging, which are distinct from the original in every respect. Expect a cold citrus-mint burst first, softening into juicy apricot and a watery, breezy heart. Hours later you get the reward: figgy sweetness and mossy amber that smells warm, natural and quietly distinctive.
Performance
The extrait concentration carries this comfortably through a full day. It behaves like a summer fragrance up top and something richer underneath, which makes it surprisingly good year-round. As with any fragrance, exact performance varies with skin type and weather.
