Habibti by Brandy: Passion Fruit, Coconut and White Florals
Habibti opens tropical without being a holiday cliché. Passion fruit and coconut arrive together, tart and creamy at once, with bergamot lifting them and pepper adding a spicy edge that keeps the whole thing from reading as suncream.
That pepper is the detail that matters. Fruity tropical openings usually go straight to sweet, and the peppery bite here holds it back.
The heart turns properly floral. Jasmine and orange blossom bring white-flower richness, geranium adds a green rosy sharpness, and heliotrope contributes an almond-powdery softness underneath.
Dry amber, vanilla, musk and patchouli close it out. The amber is dry rather than sweet, which is what stops a fruity floral of this kind collapsing into candy by hour three.

The tropical opening fades within the first hour, leaving the florals and the amber base to carry the day. Patchouli and amber give it more staying power than the fruity start suggests.
Spring and summer suit it best, though the amber base makes it viable into autumn.
Who it suits
Anyone who wants tropical fruit with a proper floral heart rather than a simple beach scent. The jasmine and orange blossom give it more substance than the category usually offers.
