Parure De Reve by Brandy Prestige: Pear, Neroli and Musk
Parure De Reve is the most polished feminine composition in the Prestige line, and the one that reads closest to a designer bottle. Currant and pear open it fruity and slightly tart, with bergamot lifting the top and keeping it from turning syrupy.
The heart is where the quality shows. Orange blossom, neroli and jasmine together, three white florals that could easily overwhelm each other, held in balance so the result is luminous rather than heavy. Neroli in particular gives it a clean, faintly green edge that most fruity florals lack.
The base does something unexpected. Rather than the vanilla-and-sugar landing you might predict, ambergris brings a warm mineral quality alongside the musk, and the vanilla stays restrained. It finishes soft and skin-like instead of sweet.

How it wears
Nine notes and no wasted ones. The composition is tight, which means it wears cleanly rather than shifting dramatically, and the extrait concentration gives the white florals staying power they would not have in a lighter formulation.
Spring and summer suit it best, though the musky base makes it wearable into autumn. Comfortable in an office, which is not true of most of the Prestige range.
Who it suits
Anyone who wants a fruity floral with restraint. The ambergris base and the neroli both work against sweetness, so this is the option if most fragrances in this style feel too young.
If you want something bolder from the same range, Mallow Magic goes considerably louder and sweeter.
