Magma Ember Dusk is the richest thing Atralia makes. Honey, orange blossom and nutmeg open it, cashmere wood, cinnamon and jasmine sambac fill the middle, and it settles into tonka, vanilla, cedarwood and a soft powdery finish. Honeyed florals over warm spiced woods, and considerably more ambitious than the rest of the range.

What it smells like

The opening is golden. Honey arrives thick and slightly animalic in the way real honey notes do, orange blossom lifts it with a clean floral sweetness, and nutmeg adds a dry spiced edge that keeps the honey from being cloying. It is a warm, enveloping start.

The heart is where the quality shows. Jasmine sambac is the richer, more indolic jasmine used across Middle Eastern perfumery, cinnamon adds spice, and cashmere wood brings a soft, plush warmth that bridges the florals and the base.
