Description
Ya Habibi by Bujairami 100ml Extrait De Parfum
Ya Habibi is the clean, bright one in the Bujairami range. Grapefruit and bergamot open it, ginger warms the heart, and soft musks carry the finish. Refined rather than loud, and one of the few Bujairami releases genuinely suited to an office.

About the inspiration, and a discrepancy worth knowing
Ya Habibi is commonly listed as inspired by Louis Vuitton Ambre Levant, and several UK retailers repeat that pairing.
We would treat it with caution. Ambre Levant is an amber oriental built on labdanum, benzoin and resinous depth. Ya Habibi’s published notes are grapefruit, bergamot, ginger and musk, which is a fresh citrus composition. Those are not two readings of the same idea, they are opposite ends of perfumery.
So either the inspiration attribution is wrong, or the published note list is. We have not been able to resolve which, and rather than repeat a claim that does not hold up, we are telling you what we actually know: this is a clean citrus and musk fragrance, and it smells nothing like an amber oriental. Buy it for what it is rather than for what a dupe list says it resembles.
The comparison refers to scent profile only. Perfumeo is not affiliated with or endorsed by any third-party fragrance house, and all brand names remain the property of their respective owners.
What it smells like
The opening is crisp and genuinely citrus. Grapefruit leads with real bitterness rather than the sweetened version most fragrances use, and bergamot smooths the edges with its slightly floral, tea-like brightness. It reads clean and expensive rather than sharp.
Ginger is the only note in the heart and it does a lot of work. It brings a dry, warm spice that stops the citrus disappearing within the hour, which is the usual failing of fresh fragrances. Warm without being sweet, spicy without being heavy.
The base is soft musk, and it is the reason this wears well at close range. Clean, skin-like and unobtrusive, it leaves a polished impression rather than a statement. Three materials, used properly.
Why extrait strength matters here
This is the point most listings miss. Citrus fragrances are notoriously the weakest performers in perfumery, because citrus molecules are volatile and evaporate quickly. A grapefruit and bergamot opening at eau de toilette strength can vanish in under an hour.
Bujairami bottles Ya Habibi at extrait de parfum concentration, which carries considerably more fragrance oil and less alcohol. That is what allows a citrus composition to hold through a working day rather than fading at lunchtime. Expect a close, clean trail through the afternoon and noticeably longer on clothing.
Two sprays is right. Extrait concentration means a lighter hand goes further, and over-applying a clean musk works against its character.
When to wear it
Spring and summer suit it best, and daytime above all. It is clean enough for an office, a classroom or any shared space, which separates it from most of the Bujairami range. The ginger gives it enough warmth for cooler months in daylight hours.
It is not an evening fragrance and does not try to be. For that, Vice City or Madness are the ones to reach for.
Who is it for?
Unisex in the truest sense. Citrus, ginger and musk carry no gender signal at all, and it is one of the easiest bottles in the range to share.
It suits anyone who wants something clean and refined for everyday wear, and anyone who has found Arabian fragrances generally too heavy or too sweet. It will not suit you if you want projection, complexity or a fragrance people comment on. Ya Habibi is deliberately understated.
If you like Ya Habibi
For other fresh options in the range, Hectic is the brand’s best seller and adds spiced tea to the citrus, Executor is polished pear and bergamot over clean amber, and Drip No. 7 goes tropical with mango and marine notes. Ocean Eyes is the other citrus musk.

About Bujairami
Bujairami is an Australian house based in Sydney with a substantial UK following built largely through TikTok. Almost the entire range is bottled at extrait strength rather than standard eau de parfum, which is why the fragrances perform well above what their price suggests. UK wearers report seven to twelve hours from the range generally.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does Ya Habibi smell like? Crisp grapefruit and bergamot opening into dry warm ginger, settling on soft clean musks. Fresh, citrus and understated rather than sweet or heavy.
How long does Ya Habibi last? Through a working day on skin as a close clean trail, and longer on clothing. The extrait concentration is what allows a citrus fragrance to hold that long, since citrus normally fades within an hour or two.
Is Ya Habibi really inspired by Ambre Levant? That is the claim repeated across several retailers, but it does not match the fragrance. Ambre Levant is an amber oriental; Ya Habibi is citrus and musk. We flag the discrepancy rather than repeat it.
Is it office appropriate? One of the best in the range for shared spaces. It is clean, close-wearing and never loud.
Is Ya Habibi unisex? Entirely. Citrus, ginger and musk carry no gender signal.
What is the difference between extrait and eau de parfum? Extrait carries more fragrance oil and less alcohol, so it sits closer to the skin and lasts considerably longer. For a citrus fragrance like this one, that difference is what makes it viable.
Is this bottle genuine? Yes. Every bottle at Perfumeo is 100% authentic, factory sealed and sourced through authorised distributors.
