Leonor by Brandy Prestige: Pineapple, Citrus and Woods
Leonor opens on the combination that has sold more masculine fragrance than any other in the last decade. Pineapple and apple against lemon and pink peppercorn, fruity and bright with a peppery sharpness that keeps it from turning into a soft drink.
The heart works harder than the opening suggests. Geranium brings a rosy-metallic edge, jasmine and white florals add lift, and cedarwood and patchouli begin the woody descent early. That floral layer is what separates this from the many fruity masculines that go straight from pineapple to amber.
Sandalwood, dry amber, vanilla and musk finish it, warm and smooth. The vanilla is restrained, so the overall effect is polished rather than sweet.

How it wears
Thirteen notes and a proper three-stage structure, so it genuinely evolves rather than sitting still. The pineapple is the shortest phase, the florals and woods carry the middle, and the amber base holds through the evening.
Wearable year round. Bright enough for summer, warm enough underneath for cold weather, and inoffensive enough for an office.
Who it suits
Anyone who likes the fruity-fresh masculine style and wants a version with more going on in the middle. It is a crowd-pleaser, and there is nothing wrong with that.
If you want something sharper and less sweet, Egoiste takes the herbal route instead. For something darker, Hermoso brings incense into it.
