Oud For Excellence is a six-note composition and one of the tightest things Brandy makes. There is no filler in it, which is why it reads considerably more expensive than it costs.

Saffron opens it, warm and faintly leathery, with nutmeg adding dry spice and lavender bringing an unexpected aromatic coolness. That lavender is the clever part. It is not a note you associate with Arabian oud, and it gives the opening a clean, almost herbal lift before the wood arrives.
Agarwood takes the heart on its own, smoky and resinous with nothing competing against it. Then patchouli and musk close it out, earthy and grounded, holding the oud close to the skin for hours.

How it wears
Extrait concentration on a composition this focused means real longevity. Agarwood, patchouli and musk are all persistent materials and there is nothing volatile here to burn off quickly beyond the saffron.
Cold weather and evenings. This is a proper oud and it behaves like one, so two sprays indoors is the sensible limit.
