My Love by Brandy: Orange Blossom, Tuberose and Vanilla
My Love is a white floral built with unusual care over sourcing, at least on paper. Orange blossom and bergamot open it bright and clean, and the citrus keeps the florals from feeling heavy from the first spray.
Tuberose and Indian jasmine carry the heart. Both are rich, heady materials, and together they produce the creamy, slightly narcotic quality that defines this style of fragrance. This is the section that does the emotional work.
The base is deliberately soft. Madagascar vanilla adds warmth without turning it gourmand, white musk keeps it close to the skin, and Virginian cedar provides just enough dryness to stop the whole thing feeling powdery.
