Good Girl Killer by Brandy: Osmanthus, Tuberose and Milk
Despite the name, Good Girl Killer is a white floral rather than the gourmand-oriental style the name might suggest. Osmanthus opens it, apricot-skinned and faintly leathery, with jasmine and rose de mai building a proper floral foundation behind it.
The heart is where it becomes distinctive. Tuberose is a demanding note, heady and slightly narcotic, and here it is softened by an actual milk accord, which takes the edge off and gives the fragrance a creamy, almost skin-like warmth. Narcissus adds a green, faintly hay-like complexity underneath.
Amber and white cedar close it out, warm but restrained, leaving the florals to do most of the talking throughout the wear rather than handing off to a heavy base.
