Vannila Vio by Brandy Prestige: Cognac, Spice and Vanilla
The name undersells it. Vannila Vio is not a soft vanilla scent, and anyone buying it expecting one will be surprised within about ten seconds. It opens on cognac and cinnamon, with nutmeg behind and a crisp apple note cutting through the spice. Boozy, warm and considerably more grown up than the bottle suggests.
The heart is where it earns its place. Dates and plum bring a dried-fruit richness that pairs naturally with the cognac, and dry wood stops the sweetness running away with itself. Only in the base does vanilla properly arrive, rounded out with benzoin and musk into something smooth rather than sugary.

How it wears
This is an Extrait de Parfum, the most concentrated tier, and it behaves like one. The cognac accord burns off within the first half hour, which is normal for boozy openings, leaving the spiced dried-fruit heart to carry the middle hours. The vanilla and benzoin base sits close to the skin and lasts.
Cold weather suits it. Autumn and winter evenings are where a fragrance like this makes sense, and it can feel heavy in a warm room. Two sprays go a long way.

Brandy lists it as unisex and that is right. Nothing here reads decisively one way, and boozy gourmands have always been worn across the board.
It suits anyone who likes their sweetness with an edge. If you find most vanilla fragrances too dessert-like, the cognac and dry wood here give it a backbone those lack. If you want a simple creamy vanilla, this is not that fragrance.
