Lattafa Angham Is A Dupe For What Perfume? How we checked this. Both note lists are pulled from each fragrance’s own published pyramid rather than from retail listings, because retailers frequently publish the original fragrance’s pyramid against the interpretation. Shared notes are counted as a fraction of the original’s full pyramid. We do not quote percentages, because nobody publishes a formula and no percentage is verifiable. Where a comparison rests on community opinion rather than overlapping notes, it is labelled as opinion.
Lattafa Angham Is A Dupe For What Perfume?
The short answer Lattafa Angham is widely compared to Burberry Goddess. Both are built on vanilla with a praline sweetness over a soft amber base, and the comparison is the most consistent one made about this fragrance.
Angham Second Song, the 2026 flanker, is compared to Dolce & Gabbana My Devotion instead. One reviewer put the whole line neatly: Second Song is to My Devotion what the original Angham is to Burberry Goddess.
Both comparisons are community observations rather than claims Lattafa makes. Neither is a copy, and the sections below explain exactly where each one differs from the fragrance it is compared to.
Angham, and the Burberry Goddess comparison
Angham notes: ginger, mandarin and pink pepper, over lavender, praline, cacao and jasmine, on vanilla, amber and musk.
What the two share is the core idea: a vanilla-led gourmand that stays elegant rather than tipping into dessert. Goddess built its reputation on that balance, and Angham lands in the same territory.
Where Angham goes its own way is the heart. Praline and cacao are doing work that Goddess does not ask for, and they make Angham noticeably sweeter and more grounded. There is a chocolate-adjacent warmth here that the Burberry does not have.
The opening is also sharper. Ginger and pink pepper give Angham a spiced lift in the first few minutes, where Goddess is softer from the first spray. Lavender in the heart is the other distinguishing note, adding a herbal thread that keeps the sweetness in check.
So: same family, same intention, different execution. If what you love about Goddess is its restraint, Angham will read as sweeter than you want. If you wished Goddess went further, Angham does.
Angham Second Song, and the My Devotion comparison
Second Song notes: pear blossom and bergamot, over peony, praline and orange blossom, on vanilla, musk, tonka and ambroxan. Released in 2026.
This is a different fragrance from the original rather than a stronger version of it. The praline and the vanilla carry across, which is what marks them as one line, but almost everything else changes. The ginger, pink pepper, lavender and cacao are gone. In their place: pear blossom, peony and orange blossom.
The result is fruitier, lighter at the top and sweeter underneath. Where the original opens spiced, Second Song opens juicy.
Against My Devotion, wearers report the Lattafa running sweeter and more concentrated, with the praline pushed further forward, and lasting considerably longer. Several say they prefer it on performance alone. Others find it loses the designer’s polish.
One claim that does not hold up
You will also see Second Song compared to My Devotion Intense. Treat that with caution.
My Devotion and My Devotion Intense are different compositions, not two strengths of one scent, which is true of most designer flankers and catches people out constantly. The comparison that holds up consistently in community discussion is to the standard My Devotion. If you own the Intense and buy Second Song expecting a match, you will be disappointed.
Which should you buy?
Buy the original Angham if you want the more restrained of the two. The spiced opening and lavender heart make it wearable in an office in a way the flanker is not, and it is the one to choose if sweet fragrances usually feel too young on you.
Buy Second Song if you want the sweeter, fruitier, more noticeable version and do not mind being noticed. It is also the longer performer of the pair.
If you cannot decide, a 2ml sample costs a few pounds and settles it on your own skin, which matters more here than usual because the two are genuinely different fragrances rather than variations.
The thing most reviews miss about Second Song
Wearers consistently report that Second Song improves with a few months of settling in the bottle, becoming smoother and sweeter as the praline rounds out.
That matters because a fresh bottle reads sharper and more synthetic than the same bottle will months later, and a good number of the negative reviews describe exactly that fresh-bottle character. If your first impression disappoints, put it away for a few weeks rather than writing it off.
Performance
Both sit in the eight to ten hour range on skin with clear projection through the opening hours, and both hold considerably longer on clothing. Second Song is the stronger of the two, which is the main practical argument for it over the original.
Two or three sprays is plenty for either. These are gourmands and a heavy hand makes them cloying rather than impressive. Apply to moisturised skin, which makes a bigger difference with sweet compositions than with fresh ones.

Frequently asked questions
What is Lattafa Angham a dupe of?
It is most consistently compared to Burberry Goddess, sharing the vanilla-led gourmand structure. Angham adds praline and cacao, which makes it sweeter and more grounded than the Burberry.
What is Angham Second Song a dupe of?
Dolce & Gabbana My Devotion. Not My Devotion Intense, which is a different composition. Wearers describe the Lattafa as sweeter, more concentrated and longer lasting.
Is Angham Second Song the same as Angham?
No. They are different fragrances that share a name and a praline-vanilla thread. The original is spiced and lavender-led; Second Song is fruity and floral.
Which Angham lasts longer?
Second Song, by most accounts. Both are in the eight to ten hour range, but Second Song projects more strongly and holds longer.
Is Angham too sweet for the office?
The original is manageable in a shared space with two sprays. Second Song is noticeably sweeter and better suited to evenings.
Why does my bottle smell synthetic?
Most likely because it is new. Both fragrances, and Second Song in particular, are widely reported to smooth out after a few months of settling. Give it time before judging.
Are these only for women?
They are marketed to women and wear that way, though nothing in praline and vanilla rules anyone out. Scent is not gendered; marketing is.
