Momento by Riiffs 100ml Eau De Parfum
Momento is the rose and oud one, and it does not hold back. Sugar, saffron and mandarin open it sweet and spiced, tonka, Damask rose and oud fill the heart, and it finishes on amberwood, caramel and cedar. Rich, warm and built for cold weather, with projection that announces itself from the first spray.

Momento is commonly compared to Widian Black and Montale Arabians Tonka based on community feedback, and it sits in the same sweet saffron, rose and oud territory those are known for. It is an interpretation rather than a copy, with its own balance of sugar and spice. What it smells like
The opening is immediately sweet and spiced. Saffron brings its bittersweet, faintly leathery warmth, sugar makes it candied rather than dry, and mandarin lifts the pair with a brief citrus brightness. It smells expensive from the first spray, which is most of its appeal.
The heart is classic Gulf perfumery. Damask rose is full and slightly jammy, oud sits underneath giving depth without turning medicinal, and tonka bean threads an almond and hay sweetness through both. Rose and oud together is the oldest pairing in Arabian perfumery and this is a generous version of it.
The dry down keeps the warmth going. Amberwood gives a resinous glow, caramel extends the sweetness, and cedar adds dry structure so it does not become sticky. It settles into a warm amber-woody skin scent that lasts well into the evening.
Performance
Strong. Projection is considerable through the first few hours with a sweet-spicy rose and oud trail, and longevity runs comfortably beyond eight hours on skin. Two sprays are plenty, and clothing holds it considerably longer.
When to wear it
Autumn and winter, and evenings above all. The saffron, oud and caramel want cool air around them, and in genuine heat this will feel dense. It suits dinners, occasions and cold nights out rather than a warm office.
Who is it for?
Unisex, and genuinely so. Rose and oud have never been gendered notes in Gulf perfumery, and the sugar and caramel keep it approachable for anyone who finds traditional oud too austere. It suits anyone who wants richness and presence.
It will not suit you if you dislike sweetness or if oud has been too much for you before.

Exactly what it says on the tin – a great cheaper alternative to Arabian Tonka by Montale. Easily lasts 8+ hours on skin with a good projection for at least 2-3+ hours before settling to a skin scent. Very much an Autumn/ Winter fragrance but you can get away with it on colder days.
