A tip from the stockroom first: let it rest. Nebras rewards a fortnight of maceration more than almost anything we stock, and it goes from nice to genuinely addictive. It is a warm, cocoa-dusted vanilla gourmand.

Red berries and mandarin lift the opening. The heart is where it wins, vanilla, cacao and a soft rose. The base is sugar, tonka, amber and musk, cosy and dessert-like without turning into a chocolate bar.

Fresh from the box it can smell a little flat and boozy; after two weeks it blooms into a rich berry-and-cocoa cream. Eight to ten hours on skin, and it clings to a jumper for days, with comfortable projection that stays personal rather than shouting.
