Longevity is the main reason people buy Hawas, and it is also where the claims get silly. Marketing says all day. Forum posts say fourteen hours. A few buyers say it vanished by lunch. All three can be true depending on skin, weather and how many sprays you used.
Here are realistic figures for each fragrance in the line, how many sprays a bottle actually contains, and what to do if yours is fading faster than it should.
The short answer
The original Hawas holds eight to ten hours on most skin, with strong projection through the first three. Hawas Ice runs slightly shorter at seven to nine. Fire and Elixir are the strongest, comfortably exceeding a full day. All of them last considerably longer on clothing than on skin.
Longevity by fragrance
- Hawas: 8 to 10 hours, closer to 6 on very dry skin. Loudest in the first three hours.

How many sprays are in a 100ml bottle?
A standard atomiser delivers roughly 0.1ml per spray, so a 100ml bottle holds somewhere in the region of 800 to 1,000 sprays depending on the pump and how long you hold it.
At two sprays a day that is well over a year of daily wear from one bottle. At four sprays a day you are looking at six to eight months. Put next to a designer fragrance costing several times more, that arithmetic is most of the value argument for this line.
How many sprays should you actually use?
Two for any fragrance in the Hawas range. One if you are heading somewhere enclosed.
Over-spraying is the single most common complaint about this line, and it comes up in reviews of almost every release. Hawas Fire and Hawas Ice both draw specific warnings, with owners describing one spray filling a room for hours. Sapphire reviewers say the same, with one noting they enjoyed it far more once they cut back.

Why yours might not be lasting
Dry skin. The most common reason by far. Fragrance binds to oil, so dry skin gives it less to hold onto. An unscented moisturiser on the pulse points before spraying is the single biggest fix and often adds hours.
You are spraying the wrong places. Wrists get washed and rubbed constantly. The chest and the base of the neck hold fragrance far better, and spraying clothing extends it well beyond what skin can manage.
You are rubbing it in. This crushes the top notes and speeds evaporation. Spray and let it dry.
Nose blindness. Your nose stops registering a constant smell within a couple of hours, particularly with warm musky bases. You will often stop smelling your own Hawas long before anyone else does. If someone comments on it at six o’clock, that is your answer.
The bottle is too new. Worth knowing, because it catches people out. Community reports consistently describe Rasasi fragrances performing better after two to four weeks of settling, with Hawas Ice especially known for underwhelming from a fresh batch. If a new bottle disappoints, put it away for a fortnight before judging it.
Storage. Heat and sunlight degrade fragrance over months. A bathroom shelf or a sunny windowsill will weaken any bottle. A drawer keeps it intact.
It might not be genuine. Counterfeit Hawas typically collapses within an hour or two, which is the opposite of what the real thing does. If yours fades that fast and everything else here is covered, authenticity is worth checking.
