Most dupe lists are guesswork. Somebody smells two things, decides they are close, and the claim gets repeated until it looks like fact.
Bujairami is the rare case where that is not necessary. The house states the fragrance each scent was built from in the product title itself, on its own websites. So this Bujairami dupe list is not our opinion about what resembles what. It is the manufacturer’s own stated reference, gathered into one place and checked against what the originating houses actually released.
That checking matters, because in one respect Bujairami’s own wording is consistently wrong. Read the next section before the tables.

Read this first: the Extrait problem
Bujairami regularly appends the word “Extrait” to an original that the originating house never released in that concentration.
| Bujairami’s wording | What the original actually is |
|---|---|
| California Dream Extrait from Louis Vuitton | Eau de Parfum only |
| Ombre Nomade Louis Vuitton, Extrait | Eau de Parfum only |
| Pacific Chill Louis Vuitton, Extrait | Eau de Parfum only |
| Althair Parfums de Marly, Extrait | Eau de Parfum only. A real flanker exists, Althaïr Exclusif, and that is also an EDP |
| Bal d’Afrique Absolu Byredo, Extrait | The Absolu is real, but Byredo call it Absolu de Parfum, never Extrait |
The word is not describing a version of the original. It is describing Bujairami’s own concentration, which across much of the range is genuinely extrait strength. The product title is simply built in a confusing order.
This matters because other UK sellers copy the wording without checking, so you will find listings implying that a Louis Vuitton Ombre Nomade Extrait exists. It does not.
One related point, since it causes the same confusion. Louis Vuitton’s “Les Extraits” is a collection of seven distinct fragrances, not stronger versions of existing ones. They are Cosmic Cloud, Dancing Blossom, Fantasmagory, Myriad, Rhapsody, Stellar Times and Symphony. Any claim of a Louis Vuitton “[name] Extrait” outside those seven is a fabrication.
Louis Vuitton
Comfortably the house Bujairami draws on most, and the reason is arithmetic. Louis Vuitton sells fragrance only through its own boutiques and website, never wholesale, with the main line at £265 for 100ml and £390 for 200ml in the UK.

Althaïr is £225 for 75ml at Selfridges and £270 for 125ml at Harrods. There is no 100ml, which is worth knowing if you are comparing like for like on volume.

A note on Kayali’s numbering, because it is misread constantly. The trailing number is the count of formulation rounds the perfumer worked through. It is not a year and it is not a concentration. Vanilla 28 is not 28 per cent of anything. It is an eau de parfum, £110 for 100ml at Harrods.

Two entries there deserve a flag.
Too Damn Good is built from Bal d’Afrique Absolu, which Byredo released in 2025, not the original Bal d’Afrique from 2009. Those are different compositions, so judging it against the 2009 version will mislead you. The Absolu is £270 for 100ml at Liberty and Cult Beauty.
Mafia Boss sits against Clive Christian Blonde Amber, a parfum at 25 per cent concentration, sold at £490 for 50ml at Selfridges with no 100ml offered. It is the widest gap on the entire list, and the one where we would caution you most about expectations.

Where two Bujairami scents share one original
Six originals currently have two Bujairami interpretations each, which is genuinely useful to know before you buy both by accident.
| Original | Bujairami versions |
|---|---|
| Louis Vuitton Ombre Nomade | Mad Love (extrait) and Madness (EDP) |
| Louis Vuitton Pacific Chill | Non Stop and No Limit |
| Louis Vuitton Symphony | Psycho and Unforgettable |
| Parfums de Marly Althaïr | Legacy and Agha |
| Ex Nihilo Blue Talisman | Executor and Enforcer |
| Xerjoff Torino 21 | Limonana and Mojito Splash |
Mad Love and Madness is the clearest illustration of the concentration point made at the top. Both are built from the same Louis Vuitton fragrance. One is Bujairami’s extrait, one is their eau de parfum. The difference between the two bottles is Bujairami’s own strength, not two different versions of the Louis Vuitton, because Ombre Nomade exists only as an eau de parfum.
Kingsman and Emperor are a near-pair rather than a true one. Kingsman is built from Creed Aventus, Emperor from Aventus Absolu, which are two genuinely different Creed releases.
Fragrances with no stated inspiration
Not every Bujairami release is built from something else, and the brand does not claim otherwise. These carry no stated reference on the house’s own listings.
Dubai Crush, Ruthless Vanilla, The Aftermath, Her, Chic Wood and Nice and Nude.
We would rather list these as unattributed than invent a comparison, which is what tends to happen elsewhere when a product does not fit the shape of a list.
What “inspired by” does and does not mean
Worth being precise about, because this category attracts a lot of loose language.
Every comparison on this page refers to the scent profile only. Each Bujairami fragrance is the house’s own composition, in its own bottle and its own packaging, distinct from the original in every respect.
Bujairami is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any of the houses named here, and neither is Perfumeo. All brand names remain the property of their respective owners. The references above come from Bujairami’s own product listings, which is why they carry more weight than the usual community guesswork, but a stated inspiration is a starting point for a composition rather than a claim of sameness.
An inspired-by fragrance shares a direction. It is not the same perfume at a lower price, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something. What you are buying is the shape of an idea, made with different materials at a different budget, and a good number of them are excellent on those terms.
Where to go next

Frequently asked questions
Is Bujairami a dupe brand?
Bujairami makes inspired-by fragrances and states the reference in its own product titles, which is more transparent than most houses in this space. The scents are its own compositions rather than copies, and the brand is not connected to any of the houses it names.
What is Bujairami Psycho inspired by?
Louis Vuitton Symphony, one of the seven fragrances in Louis Vuitton’s Les Extraits collection. Bujairami’s Unforgettable is built from the same original.
What is Bujairami Mad Love inspired by?
Louis Vuitton Ombre Nomade. So is Madness. Mad Love is the extrait and Madness the eau de parfum, and the difference in strength between them is Bujairami’s own, since Ombre Nomade exists only as an eau de parfum.
Does Louis Vuitton make an Ombre Nomade Extrait?
No. Ombre Nomade is an eau de parfum only. Where you see “Extrait” in a Bujairami title, it describes Bujairami’s concentration, not a version of the Louis Vuitton.
Which Bujairami has the biggest price gap against its original?
Mafia Boss, built from Clive Christian Blonde Amber, which sells at £490 for 50ml at Selfridges.
Are any Bujairami fragrances original rather than inspired by something?
Yes. Dubai Crush, Ruthless Vanilla, The Aftermath, Her, Chic Wood and Nice and Nude carry no stated reference on the brand’s own listings.
Why do two Bujairami scents sometimes share one original?
Because the house has released both an extrait and an eau de parfum interpretation, or two separate takes at different times. Six originals currently have two Bujairami versions each, listed in full above.
